Project Description
Reyes Construction Inc.’s work involved the removal of approximately 2.5 million cubic yards of surcharge material from Pier 400 which was loaded onto barges for offshore disposal; removal and replacement of 800,000 cubic yards of unsuitable material to an elevation of 10’ below final grade (approx. +4 MLLW); removal of approximately 750,000 cubic yards of surcharge material from Pier 300, loaded to barges for disposal at a submerged storage site; furnish and install 18" storm drain system, furnish and install 108” storm drain system; construction of berm at the Anchorage Road Dredge Material Disposal Site to increase unsuitable dredge material storage capacity; placement of approximately 300,000 tons of 3” minus gravel drainage blanket at Berth 100; placement of approximately 150,000 tons of crushed aggregate base @ Pier 300.  Reyes Construction, Inc.'s scope also included the Cabrillo Beach Sand Replacement.
