Project Description
Reyes Construction reconstructed Mercury Drive from Douglas to Challenger Way; removed 3-inches of existing asphalt, remove sections of existing concrete curb and gutter, remove sections of concrete slabs, fine grade and compact sub-grade to 95% compaction; installed 1200 feet of curb and gutter, install 300 ft of sidewalk; and placed 10 inches of class II base and compact to 95% maximum density. Additionally, Reyes Construction applied tack coat to old asphalt edges and gutter edges; installed 3-inches of new asphalt and compact to 95% maximum density. Install 300 prismatic reflective markers and striped 6 traffic arrow signs and 6 stop signs. Traffic barricades and traffic control were provided until construction was completed.
