Project Description
Kimball Avenue Storm Drain and Street Improvements consisted of the complete removal and replacement of 6500' of Kimball Avenue from Euclid Avenue to 1000' west of Mountain Avenue. In addition to the street improvements, 3500' of 48" RCP was installed along with (13) catch basins which diverted the storm water into Cypress and Magnolia Channels. Other items of work included: street lighting and traffic signal, chain link fence, retaining walls, a reinforced concrete box that ran under Kimball Avenue at Magnolia Channel, the installation of domestic water laterals for future use and grouted rip-rap.
