Project Description
Reyes Construction is placing a 3’ thick monolithic soils alternative cover system over the 39-acre refuse disposal footprint.  Final Closure construction will consist of the placement of approximately 276,000 CY of cover soils.  The cover soils are to be generated by excavation of the existing on-site borrow area.  In addition, the closure construction consists of constructing final drainage improvement and installing perimeter landfill gas mitigation monitoring probes.
