Project Description
Reyes Construction was originally awarded a contract to provide an environmental survey for the marine expansion of the boat dock facilities at MCRD, San Diego. The contract was modified to include the construction of the marina expansion, fishing pier, dock, platform and the maintenance (replacement of piles and timber dolphins). The floating dock was extended to include 36 new slips, lighting systems, electrical and plumbing work. At the existing boat dock, two (2) piles and four (4) timber dolphin piles with pre-cast concrete piles were removed and replaced. A 30’ x 30’ independent fishing pier/dock/platform was constructed with and access ramp, night lighting, washing facilities, electrical and plumbing work.
