Project Description
Reyes Construction was awarded this design-build contract which consisted of providing engineering evaluation, design and construction of an above ground new live pump station to bypass the existing below ground live pump station.  The work included furnishing, installing and testing pumps, controls, appurtenances and providing temporary pumps and piping.  In addition, the project included fresh water system service connection alterations, providing and installing new fire hydrants, 8” and 12” water mains along the existing roads, as well as providing disinfection and pressure testing services to all water lines.  Other tasks included: paint/corrosion coating to exposed structures, incidental work, supports, associated piping work, demolition, asphalt concrete pavement, traffic control and water diversion.
