RCI awarded $180 DHS IDIQ MATOC for Tactical Infrastructure in Tucson, AZ

RCI awarded $180 million IDIQ MATOC contract for the Department of Homeland Security Tactical Infrastructure Program, Tucson Sector, for a 5-year term.   This contract will be used to support the Tactical Infrastructure Program (TIP), requirements of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Bureau of Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) Sector Tucson, within the general vicinity of the U.S./Mexico border southwestern region of the U.S.  In addition, the MATOC will serve to support the project requirements of other military, civil works and other Department of Defense (DOD) agencies authorized by the USACE Engineering Construction Support Office.

The projects issued under this contract will range from design-bid-build, to design-build and even include project which require site-adaptation.  The general scopes of work anticipated for award under this contract include, but are not limited to: construction and major maintenance/repair of reinforced fencing, low-water crossings, drainage structures, vehicle and pedestrian barriers, gates, cuts and fills, storm water pollution prevention measures, site restoration (hydroseeding and revegetation), site clean-up, environmental mitigation, light-compaction patrol roads, heavy paving, bridges, construction access roads, are/spot lighting, high and low voltage electrical distribution, electronics/sensor towers, general site work, and other horizontal construction work.  The projects issued under this contract will generally range from $1 million to $10 million.
