Project Description
Reyes Construction, Inc. re-aligned an existing road to improve the vehicular flow of traffic.  The scope of work included: demolition of existing facilities near roadway; excavate 70,000 CY of dirt; install hillside drainage facilities; relocate 8,000 LF of underground utilities (domestic water, sanitary sewer, gas, electrical, and telephone); and install a new storm drainage system - 2,000 LF of 18-inch to 78-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) with drainage structures.  RCI also constructed 1,500 LF of asphalt roadway; 2,000 LF of curb and gutter; placed and compacted 1,600 tons of CMB; and placed 1,200 tons of asphalt.  In addition, 5,000 SF of concrete pavement, 500 LF of retaining wall, and 1,000 LF of metal beam guardrail were installed.
