This award is a notable achievement and awarded only to those companies that have demonstrated a corporate proactive safety posture throughout the life of their contract.
RCI’s commitment to safety met the high standards of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, NAVFAC Southwest and the PWD Ventura County. These standards are as follows:
v Zero DART incidents throughout the life of the contract;
v No significant contractor or government property damage for the entire length of the contract;
v No safety non-compliance notices or stop work orders;
v No findings identified during Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance inspections;
v No Class A, B, or C crane mishaps;
v Minimum overall satisfactory performance evaluation – including quality; and
v A cumulative average score of 90% or better on the Contractor Safety Self-Evaluation Checklists.
