    Project Description

    The CSUDH Mainline Extension (Lateral IIIA) consisted of the installation of 1100ft. of 12in. PVC and 6500ft. of 24in. cement mortar lined and coated steel pipe. The steel water line required a cathodic protection system that included a ribbon anode that ran the entire length of the line. The recycled water lateral will be used for irrigation of the various playing fields at the new Home Depot Center in Carson, CA as well as the Cal State University Dominguez Hills Campus.

    C-17 Road Work & Utilities Upgrades (FY 08)

    Project Description

    Reyes Construction, Inc. removed and replaced 47,000 SF of roadway along Ellis Drive and Ragsdale Road. An additional 47,000 SF of roadway was rehabilitated with a 6in. overlay placed on the lower portion of the existing roadway. Work included sawcutting, removal of existing asphalt concrete, recycling of asphalt concrete, excavation and grading, furnishing and placing crushed aggregate base, placement of asphalt concrete pavement, constructing concrete curbs and gutters, constructing concrete sidewalks and cross-gutters, installing geotextile material and rock for drainage, electrical underground transmission and distribution, exterior lighting, new street lighting, utility relocating, striping, shoulders, a pump station, French drainaged system, culverts, fire hydrants, and traffic control. A 2,600 LF sewer main was installed and connected to existing lines and tied to buildings. Of notable mention, On January 28, 2009, RCI was seleceted as the recipient of the FY09 ROICC Travis Safety Through Awards and Recognition (STAR) for our outstanding safety performance, maintained throughout the life of this project.

    Repair Non-Potable Water Mains

    Project Description

    Reyes Construction, Inc. installed 11,000 LF of new non-potable water mains of varying sizes ranging from 8-inch to 14-inch complete with gate valves, blow-offs, and airvacs. Additional work included restoration and improvements to the existing asphalt and concrete surrounding the utilities.

    Project Description

    Reyes Construction, Inc. provided 6,500 LF of 8-inch waterlines at various locations of the C-17 area of Travis AFB; realigned the southern intersection of Dixon Avenue and Ragsdale Street, reconstructed Dixon Avenue from Ragsdale to Ellis Drive, constructed a parking lot and roadway at Broadway Street and Columbus Circle using 4,300 LF of 3-inch thick Asphalt Concrete over 13.5 inches of CMB. Additionally, we constructed waterlines along Ellis Drive including related apurtenances. All adjacent shoulders, curbs, gutters, driveways and approaches (8,600 LF) were constructed.     Repair Upgrade Wastewater Treatment Plant

    Prado Dam Utility Relocation - Phase II

Our scope of work included: removing and replacing 200 LF of 42-inch RCP pipe and installing new rubber expansion joints and flap valves; removing 160 LF of 12-inch PVC and replacing it with new Ductile Iron Pipe inside a 20-inch casing and installing two (2) new connectors; removing 200 LF existing 18-inch VCP sewer pipe and placing new 18-inch HDPE pipe and sealing manholes; and removing 1,200 LF of existing 12-inch steel water pipe and constructing new 12-inch Ductile Iron Pipe

    Sewer Upgrade Phase IV

    San Manuel Piping & Road Work, Indian Svc. Rd.

    Reyes Construction, Inc. re-aligned an existing road to improve the vehicular flow of traffic. The scope of work included: demolition of existing facilities near roadway; excavate 70,000 CY of dirt; install hillside drainage facilities; relocate 8,000 LF of underground utilities (domestic water, sanitary sewer, gas, electrical, and telephone); and install a new storm drainage system - 2,000 LF of 18-inch to 78-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) with drainage structures. RCI also constructed 1,500 LF of asphalt roadway; 2,000 LF of curb and gutter; placed and compacted 1,600 tons of CMB; and placed 1,200 tons of asphalt. In addition, 5,000 SF of concrete pavement, 500 LF of retaining wall, and 1,000 LF of metal beam guardrail were installed.

    Repair Sewer Mains Between 2nd & Ocotillo

    Waterline Distribution System

    Project Description

    Reyes Construction, Inc. was awarded this design-build contract which consisted of providing engineering evaluation, design and construction for the repair of the waterline distribution system basewide at Naval Air Station, Point Mugu, CA. The scope of work consisted of traffic control, dewatering, excavation, trenching, backfill, mainline pipe installation, lateral and appurtenance installation, cathodic protection, hydrostatic testing, waterline tie-ins, abandonment of existing waterlines, and paving at 18 different locations basewide. Additional work included jack and boring, runway restoration, shoring and pits, landscaping, hardscape restoration, as well as miscellaneous site improvements and incidental work. All total, 40,000 LF of pipe was installed at Point Mugu.

    Madrona Lateral Recycled Water Pipeline Extension

    Project Description

    Reyes Construction provided all operations necessary for the construction of a recycled 15,000 LF of water transmission main consisting of 24 CML steel pipe and 12, 8, 6 and 4 C-900 PVC pipe including tie-in connection to an existing, below grade 30 ductile iron pipeline, fittings, valves, air/vacuum valve assemblies, blow-off assemblies, cathodic protection assemblies and test stations, a jack and boring operation, restoration, traffic control and testing of pipeline facilities. Other tasks included: insulation kits and appurtenances and gaskets; exploratory excavation for utility conflicts; removal and/or protection of existing utilities and improvements; temporary or permanent support of utilities; construction staking; bedding, slurry, backfill and compaction; gate and butterfly valves and valve boxes and covers; temporary bulkhead for testing welding; shoring and bracing of trench. Work also required the removal and replacement of PCC pavement and aggregate base course to match existing condition. This included saw-cutting, grinding and/or pulverizing in-place.

    Sewer System Upgrades Phases 1 & 2

    Project Description

    Reyes Construction was awarded this design-build contract which consisted of providing engineering evaluation, design and construction of an above ground new live pump station to bypass the existing below ground live pump station. The work included furnishing, installing and testing pumps, controls, appurtenances and providing temporary pumps and piping. In addition, the project included fresh water system service connection alterations, providing and installing new fire hydrants, 8 and 12 water mains along the existing roads, as well as providing disinfection and pressure testing services to all water lines. Other tasks included: paint/corrosion coating to exposed structures, incidental work, supports, associated piping work, demolition, asphalt concrete pavement, traffic control and water diversion.

    Oil/Water Wash Separators

    Replace Insulation & Jacket HTHW Lines
