Founded and incorporated in 1987, Reyes Construction, Inc. has over 35 years of experience providing quality service for a variety of clients including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Port of Los Angeles, Port of Long Beach, Caltrans, county and city public works, sanitation, flood control, waste management and a number of local, state and Federal Government agencies. With a diverse group of professionals providing engineering and construction services working throughout the west including California, Arizona, Washington and Nevada.

AGC of California’s prestigious Constructor Awards program recognizes achievements of its members for their unique skill, and ability to address the difficult challenges encountered in construction. Each year, AGC of California awards only one prestigious “Constructor” award in various categories. Reyes Construction, Inc. has been the fortunate recipient of awards in:

  • 2008 AGC Excellence in Project Management – Projects $5 million or Below (Repair Navigation Aid and Lighting to Runway 3-21 and 9-27 in Point Mugu – NAVFAC Southwest)

Reyes Construction is proudly affliated with The Society of Military Engineers (SAME) The mission of the Society of American Military Engineers is to promote and facilitate engineering support for national security by developing and enhancing relationships and competencies among uniformed services, public and private sector engineers, and related professionals.

DBIA

The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) is an association of leaders in the design and construction industry utilizing design-build and integrated project delivery methods to achieve high performance projects.

The Beavers

The Beavers is a social, honorary organization formed, organized and managed by the construction companies and individuals who are or have engaged in heavy engineering construction. The Beavers was founded in 1955.

American Concrete Institute

The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is a nonprofit technical and educational society organized in 1904 and is one of the world’s leading authorities on concrete technology. ACI is a forum for the discussion of all matters related to concrete and the development of solutions to problems. ACI conducts this forum through conventions and meetings; the ACI Structural Journal, the ACI Materials Journal, Concrete International, and technical publications; chapter activities; and technical committee work. As its chartered objective states, its purpose is “to provide a comradeship in finding the best ways to do concrete work of all kinds and in spreading that knowledge.”

Reyes Construction is proudly affiliated with the Southern California and San Diego Chapters of The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). The Associated General Contractors of America is dedicated to furthering the ever changing agenda of commercial construction contractors, improving job site safety, expanding the use of cutting edge technologies and techniques and strengthening the dialogue between contractors and owners.

Community

Bosco Tech

Reyes Construction, Inc. is a proud supporter of Don Bosco Technical Institute. Annual support provided to Bosco Tech includes title sponsorship of the annual Bosco Golf Classic, hosting annual field trips for ACE students to various Reyes Construction project sites as well as vendor facilities, and occasional summer internship opportunities for ACE students.

The mission of Don Bosco Technical Institute is dedicated to creating leaders in engineering, science, and technology by presenting opportunities for real world experience that provide graduates with an edge in university studies and career development. Established in 1955, Bosco Tech is a college preparatory Catholic high school guided by the educational philosophy of St. John Bosco and offers challenging academic exploration through project-based learning.

USS Midway Gala

Reyes Construction, Inc. is a proud sponsor of the annual USS Midway American Patriot Gala. This Gala is held in late August each year and celebrates the tremendous accomplishments of past American military heroes. All event proceeds benefit the “No Child Left Ashore” scholarship fund. These scholarships provide the opportunity for tens of thousands of students from under-served San Diego County schools to study science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and participate in overnight youth learning opportunities aboard Midway.
